With the Los Angeles Clippers’ Blake Griffin missing the early portion of the NBA season with injury, Milwaukee guard Brandon Jennings may have surfaced as the early leader for the Rookie of the Year award is off to a great start, averaging nearly 19 points a contest along with four assists, four rebounds, and just under two steals. Yes….the same Brandon Jennings that went to Europe for a year instead of college. He may have been the fourth point guard taken in the 2009 NBA draft, but he’s going to be number one at the position in Milwaukee for a long time coming. Jennings has always had aspirations of being a star in this league, that’s why he passed on going to college for a year. However, even he didn’t envision himself getting off to such a hot start.
