Recorded on February 1st, 2010, in the same studio as the original 25 years earlier (Henson Recording Studios, formerly A&M Recording Studios) “We Are The World 25 For Haiti”, in which Jones and Richie serve as executive producers and producers, was created in collaboration with executive producers Wyclef Jean, Randy Phillips and Peter Tortorici; producers Humberto Gattica and RedOne; and co-producers Rickey Minor, Mervyn Warren and Patti Austin to benefit the Haitian earthquake relief efforts and the rebuilding of Haiti.

Nas – Illmatic (Documentary)

The best Hip Hop album ever in my opinion. Only 10 tracks, but the entire album is classic. Everything fits so well. I love documentary film and its great to see footage filmed way back in the early 90’s when the album came out. Check out this promo video where Nas, Q-Tip, Large Professor, and others that were involved with this project discuss the collaborations that made Illmatic brilliant.

2Pac has the most controversial death next to Elvis. I do know one thing for sure…he is dead. Its simply a matter of who was involved.  Suge Knight? Orlando Anderson? 2Pac knew he was going to die early. He would talk about it all the time in his music and interviews. He brought it on himself by acting as wild as he did…can you blame him though? He was the first rapper to reach a global status in the media. That would make anyone crazy.

Drake – Sprite Commercial

Drake doing big things….I like his cut throat mentality in all his music. He is really talented. No wonder every label in the world wants to sign him. This commercial was originally aired over the NBA All Star Weekend…still pretty new.
